The staff were polite and courteous. The Manager Abraham Matthew helped us in arranging and getting things done easily and quickly. The food was very good and on the whole we had a great time.

surrounded with river and backwater, location is the only plus point. Property is old. We suffered company of mosquitos, lizard and pigeons. Service phone was not working, water tap was leaked, terrace attached to room was not cleaned. Very limited option in breakfast. Average taste.

I have stayed in the resort on 2nd and 3rd Dec 2024. 1. Rooms are compact for family ( 2 members). 2. Food is very good. I loved their breakfast, lunch and dinner. May quality of coffee and tea they need to improve further more. 3. Lawn and ponds are very well maintained. We enjoyed the pond side meeting because of the good lawn. 4. For Boating they arranged, it was really good. 5. Overall the staff behaviour was very good. I felt very happy.

It was the worst experience to stay here for 1 night . Rooms are not good at all and bathrooms were not clean. They have poor food quality and at breakfast 2 items are only there 1 for non vegetarian (omelette)and 1 for vegetarian (uttapam (without salt) ). Management will try to give u the cheapest (no matter if it suites you or not) service available at that point of time.I would never recommend this sham of a place to anyone.

My expectation for Royal Riviera Kumarakom as a cost-effective resort were exceeded, the welcoming atmosphere, breathtaking waterfront setting, and comfortable accommodations made for a perfect weekend. The excellent experience was made better by the restaurant's fantastic menu and helpful staff and highly advised it for a fun and affordable trip. One of the best budget-friendly resorts in Kumarakom.

I have stayed here for just one night but overall good experience there. Due to excellent service for room, food, extra amenities etc. i felt like my own house in place hotel.
